“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us,”
I can’t think of anything better to use as a description of the 2017 patriots season. Tom Brady at 40 seemingly throwing the ball as well or better than ever. an offence clicking like a Swiss time piece and a Defense sputtering like your granddads war watch. you love it but it can’t keep time anymore Here is My Monster Key to Patriots victory
Cover Two Man Up !!!
For some reason this incarnation of The Patriots D has the Football IQ of a houseplant. And all the watering Matt Patricia has done since JUNE has not taken. So let’s eliminate what everyone keeps calling communication issues. Get into Cover two Man and stay there, this will allow the corners to find a man gran thri man and not have to THINK AT ALL.
Let Dion be Dion :
Last week we all saw Dion Lewis get more snaps than he had in the first three weeks, i want more. Versatility is what Lewis brings to every play, keep Tampa guessing.
Toughen up in the Zone : Red Zone D has been abysmal this is not Patriot Football, people keep forgetting the Don’t Break part. Hold the Bucs to Three’s
Eliminate the YAC : Last year the Patriots lead the NFL in Yards after the Catch D. this year ? 201 vs KC, 142 vs Saints, 98 vs Texans, 188 vs Panthers ( thank you Evan Lazar @EzLazar) give him a follow folks. Keep the play in front of you wrap people up and drag them to the turf.
Win the turnover battle: the Pats have done this every week, imagine if they didn’t ?
Long sustained Drives: tom save yourself from your own D, move the chains – move the chains – move the chains .
That’s it folks it’s a short week and so is Julian Edelman , keep your fingers crossed that the D doesn’t come m up short on thursday.
